Okay Ladies and Gents, Boys and Girls. We’re taking this website for a test drive. First official blog of “Literally Liz”. That title can be taken any number of ways but because I’m a writer, we’ll go with the obvious one.

I’m not a new blogger as anyone who has read MagicalMusings will know. I’ve been blogging at that site for the past year or so with my crit partners, Edie Ramer and Michelle Diener … and more recently with Theresa Monsey and LaDonna Paulette. It’s a stellar team, so I encourage y’all to go take a look-see at http://www.magicalmusings.com just for fun. You might want to check out Edie (http://www.edieramer.com) and Michelle’s (http://www.michellediener.com) sites as well. The same magician (Justin of Stonecreek Media… http://www.stonecreekmedia.com) who created this website also did theirs. Terrific work and totally reflects both their style of writing and personality.

I was trying to decide what sort of feel I want to give this personal blog, since I’m sure its gonna be reflection of my own character. (Scary thought). This will probably be a little more personal than the magicalmusings blog and I’ll start out with the music that I’m presently obsessed with … Melissa Etheridge. Can’t quite decide if she’s a rocker or a country singer. A little of both it seems. Besides Melissa, I’m a Joan Jett fan. Nothing like driving at high speeds, windows open and hard rock blaring.

If you’ve checked out the contents of my website, you may have read my bio, so I’m not gonna bore you with my personal background. The bio pretty much tells all I’d want to say about that. Disregard the dorky picture, though. That’s subject to change. My hair is now at the punk rock look but I expect in a few more months I’ll be able to exchange that photo for one with a better hair day.
